Put the control box where it suits you
Use it to run power and control from a RoscoLED Static White Control Box out to the tape — so the box can sit offstage, in a void or at a dimmer position while the tape stays where the light is needed.
- 2-pin connectors to suit RoscoLED Static White Tape and Control Boxes
- Waterproof fittings at each connection
- Black cable that’s easy to hide on set and in scenery
Theatre, studio and installation runs
Scenery and set pieces
Bring tape in scenic elements back to a control box hidden off-set or under a rostrum.
Architectural and display
Keep the control box accessible in a service area while tape is installed in joinery, coves or displays.
Film and TV practicals
Extend tape built into practicals or set walls back to a box out of shot.
What it is — and what it isn’t
Use it for
- Connecting RoscoLED Static White Tape to a RoscoLED Static White Control Box
- Extending the distance between tape and control box
- Neat, low-visibility cable runs in black
Don’t use it for
- RoscoLED VariWhite (3-pin) or VariColor (5-pin) systems — wrong pin count
- 12V RoscoLED strips with 2.1mm barrel connectors
- Mains power or non-RoscoLED LED products
Getting the best result
- Confirm your tape and control box are both RoscoLED Static White (2-pin).
- Plan the run and pick the shortest length that reaches — keep spare cable neat rather than coiled tight.
- Align the connector keys and push fully home, then tighten the waterproof fittings.
- Connect the control box output last, power up and check the whole run before final fixing.
