Use it for

- Hazers — use the fluid made for your hazer (e.g. Rosco V-Hazer Fluid)
- Low-lying fog with a chiller — Rosco recommends Stage & Studio Fog Fluid
- Non-Rosco machines without checking the manufacturer’s fluid guidance first
- Spaces where detectors haven’t been managed or ventilation is poor
Getting the best result
- Check the machine’s user guide confirms the fluid type before filling.
- Agree fog use with venue management — fog can trigger smoke detectors.
- Fill the machine’s fluid container and let the machine reach operating temperature.
- Start with low output and build up; test the effect in the space before the show.
- Ventilate between uses and keep fog away from performers’ faces at close range.

Rosco says Clear Fog Fluid gives the same effect, without the green colouring and scent.
Why is the fluid colour different from my last bottle?
Rosco notes the colourant can change or fade over time and that this does not affect performance.
