Common questions
Can I power a LitePad from my car?
Yes. LitePads run on 12 V DC, and this adaptor plugs into a vehicle cigarette lighter or 12 V socket.
Can I run two LitePads from one socket?
Yes — add a LitePad Y Splitter. Keep the combined draw within the socket’s fuse rating.
Will it drain the vehicle battery?
LitePads draw little power, but any load drains a battery with the engine off. Monitor it on long setups.
Vehicle sockets and wiring vary — check the fuse rating and battery condition before long use. Check the combined current draw of every LitePad on a circuit against the rating of the power source and every cable in the chain, and test the setup before the shoot or show. Specifications are from Rosco data and are a guide only.
