What is a day-for-night window filter?
A film that darkens and cools window light so a daytime scene reads as night on camera.

On its own it cuts 2.5 stops (18% transmission). Stack WindowCling ND layers for more.
Which ND should I stack it with?
Any WindowCling ND — ND3 (1 stop), ND6 (2 stops) or ND9 (3 stops) — depending on how dark you need.
Does it need adhesive?
No. It holds by static. Rosco’s fallback is soapy water and a squeegee.
Can I re-use it?
Yes. Peel it off, re-roll onto a core without creasing and store it in its bag.
