Right job, wrong job

What it is — and what it isn’t

Use it for

  • Temporary dulling of reflective props and products
  • Product, still-life and studio photography
  • Film and TV set dressing where reflections cause problems
  • Location shoots in bright conditions

Don’t use it for

  • Permanent finishes — it’s a temporary, wipe-off film
  • Delicate or untested surfaces without a hidden-area test first
  • Use near flames or heat — extremely flammable aerosol
  • Poorly ventilated spaces — avoid breathing the spray
How to use

Getting the best result

  1. Test on a small, hidden area first.
  2. Shake the can well.
  3. Spray a light, even coat from about 30 cm — build up gradually rather than one heavy coat.
  4. Check through the camera and add more only where needed.
  5. Remove with a soft, dry cloth straight after the shoot.
