Rosco Foamcoat is a non-toxic, water-based, flame-retardant, water-resistant hard coating that turns fragile XPS, EPS, and pink foam into a tough, impact-resistant, paint-ready surface. It is the go-to foam hardener for scenic artists, prop builders, fabricators, and event companies who need lightweight foam scenery to survive rehearsals, touring, outdoor use, and real-world handling.
Ideal for theatre, film, TV, live events, themed environments, museums, schools, and commercial displays, Foamcoat creates a durable shell that can be sanded, carved, and painted with Rosco Off Broadway, Supersaturated, or standard acrylic paints.

- Dry Time: Around 2–8 hours between coats, depending on thickness and environment

- Clean-up: Soap and water (while product is still wet)
- Shelf Life: Minimum 24 months in a sealed container (stored properly)

- Mixing: Stir well before use – due to heavy solids, settling can occur; power mixing is recommended for best results
